How To Clean Between The Layer Of Oven Door Glass?

When it starts getting grimy and gross, I trust in my favorite overnight method to clean my oven. It works similar a charm every fourth dimension, and I've never needed another method to help me proceed my oven clean!
Until quite recently, that is. Considering a couple of weeks ago, I noticed that the grime on the glass part of the door wasn't going abroad. After looking more than closely, I realized that the grime was actually in betwixt the panes of drinking glass in my oven door!
I'm not even sure how it happened, but I knew I needed to figure out how to clean it up! So subsequently some research and a bit of creative problem-solving, I came upwardly with a simple way to do it that I'yard quite proud of. Here's how it works, so yous tin can utilise it on your oven at abode! :-)

Tools & Supplies
Hither's what you'll need in social club to make clean the within of the drinking glass on your oven door:
- Spray bottle
- White vinegar
- Dish soap
- Paper towels
- Scouring cloth
- Wire hanger
- Rubber band
How To Make clean Between The Glass On Your Oven Door

Stride one – Clean The Outside
Fill up your spray canteen with equal parts white vinegar and dish soap. Replace the acme and shake the canteen gently to mix.
Utilise your cleaning spray and a few newspaper towels to make clean the outside of the glass on your oven door.

Step two – Clean The Inside
Next, open the oven door and spray the vinegar and soap mixture liberally over the oven-facing side of the door. Go your scouring textile wet and scrub the drinking glass until it gets nice and sudsy.
Let the cleaner sit down there for a few minutes, and then wipe away any residual grease and cleaner with a paper towel.

Bonus Tip: In the drinking glass is in really rough shape, you may want to follow up Step 2 by using a bit of Bar Keepers Friend and the damp scouring cloth to scrub away any lingering bits of crud.

Step 3 – Make clean In Between
One time the drinking glass on both the outside and within of your oven door are sparkling make clean, all that's left to address is the area in between! You lot'll do that by feeding a wire through the narrow holes on the underside of the door.
For easier access to these holes, information technology helps to remove the drawer underneath your oven. (If y'all're anything similar me, you'll probably pull out your vacuum at this bespeak because the area under the drawer gets quite dusty!)

After removing the drawer, unbend your wire hanger and straighten out one terminate. Wrap a couple of newspaper towels around the wire and secure them with a rubber ring.

Spray a fleck of your vinegar and soap mixture onto the newspaper towel. And then carefully insert your "cleaning tool" through the narrow holes in the oven door and use it to wipe the inside of the glass. (Aiming can be a bit tricky, but you'll get the hang of it!)
If necessary, echo the procedure with a dry paper towel to dry and buff the inside of the drinking glass. All done!

What If My Oven Door Doesn't Have Holes?
If you can't find any access holes on the bottom of your oven door that would allow yous to clean between the glass, don't worry! You can still clean between the glass, but you might need a screwdriver to do it.
Consult the owner's manual for your oven to find out how to open up glass panes so you lot can make clean between them. (If y'all tin can't find the manual, you tin probably find a digital copy online by typing the make and model of your oven into Google.)
